Counselling
It can be helpful for seniors, their families and caregivers to sit with and talk to someone who is objective and non-judgemental about issues they are experiencing. We offer in-person, telephone and virtual counselling to help deal with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, dealing with a chronic illness, relationship issues, caregiver burnout, and any other challenges.
We use a number of therapeutic models including, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Narrative Therapy.
Our counselling services can often be submitted to insurance benefit plans, making it easier for clients to access the support they need without financial strain.
